For many years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching Executive Pastors who were new to the role, or just needed a second set of eyes during a season of personal growth. For new church planters, it’s been my privilege to find ways to try to provide this coaching to you free of charge. For others, I’ve offered myself up at a nominal cost to offset the time borrowed from my family. Since this is not my main gig, I’ve been able to provide Executive Coaching for much less than those who do it full time. If this is something you are interested in pursuing, keep on reading and then reach out to me. It would be my privilege to help you grow in your ability to lead your church and staff well. As of September 2018, I have the bandwidth to take on four coaching relationships that can start as early as November 2018. Here is a breakdown of what a coaching relationship looks like and what it costs.

Basic Coaching For An Individual Executive Pastor: $1000.00

-Six months of scheduled monthly one-hour phone calls on a Friday (generally the first or second Friday of the month) targeted at your current developmental and guidance needs.
-The first call can last up to two hours as we get to know one another.
-Calls are with one leader for the duration of the six months.
-Unlimited quick questions via email, text and phone in between scheduled calls. Sometimes you need 10 minutes regarding a time sensitive issue, but our next call is not for 3 weeks. In those cases, I’m always available for a quick check-in in between meetings.

Basic Coaching For A Lead Pastor / Executive Pastor Team: $1500.00

-Six months of scheduled monthly 90 minute phone calls on a Friday (generally the first or second Friday of the month) targeted at your current developmental and guidance needs.
-First call can last up to two and a half hours as we get to know one another.
-Calls can be with the two leaders for the duration of the six months, or mixed up with some one-on-one coaching as needed.
-Quick questions via email, text and phone in between scheduled calls. Sometimes you need 10 minutes regarding a time sensitive issue, but our next call is not for 3 weeks. In those cases, I’m always available for a quick check-in in between meetings.
-This package is meant to address the relational needs that the LP/XP team often encounter.

Onsite Visit For One Day, Weekday: $1500.00 Plus Expenses.

-I fly in early in the morning and back out that evening with the intent of having 6-10 hours with you.
-Monday, Wednesday and Friday are the best days for this, with Friday being my preference.
-We decide together how my time with you in person will be most effective.
-You’ve got me from the time I walk off the plane till the time I get back on again. Maximize our time by picking me up at the airport and having time to connect in the car.
Note: If we determine that a longer visit is needed for your situation, I only add $1,000 for each additional day, plus overnight hotel costs. More than two days is rarely helpful.

Onsite Visit, Weekend: $2500.00 Plus Expenses.

-If it makes sense for me to get my eyes on your weekend gatherings as a part of our coaching, we can combine that with some additional meetings with yourself or key staff.
-I fly in on a Saturday night in time for dinner with whomever you’d like and out on a Sunday night.
-We decide together how my time with you in person will be most effective.
-You’ve got me from the time I walk off the plane till the time I get back on again.
-Weekend onsite visits are hard to schedule since I am a pastor myself, so they require some advance planning and are very limited.
-Note: If we determine that a longer visit is needed for your situation, I only add $1,000 for each additional day, plus overnight hotel costs.
It would be my privilege to help you grow in your ability to lead your church and staff well. Send additional questions or customized requests for Executive Pastor Coaching to backstagepastors@gmail.com .
